The Raccoon Creek PGA Junior League 13u Varmints program offers 14 golf experiences and over 27 hours of golf. The Varmints 13u program is great for players aged 8-13 who have had some clinic, lesson, or on-course experience but are not necessarily significantly experienced players.
Our goal is to provide an opportunity for your players to dive deeper into golf and spark a life-time enjoyment for the game in a popular program that focuses on fun, inclusion, player development, camaraderie, and teamwork.
Critical traits necessary in prospective PGA Jr League players include a positive attitude, ability to follow safety and game rules, accept coaching, be willing to make new friends, and partner with a variety of players. A popular aspect of Jr League is the opportunity to play a on team with friends and/or siblings and we accommodate such requests when possible. Players should have their own clubs to participate in the program at Raccoon Creek.
Outstanding returning coaches are expected to include Austin Norton, Chloe Graham, John Houlihan, Sophia Shawen and several other former Raccoon Creek Jr. League participants. Our program is a three-time recipient of the PGA Junior League #GameChanger Award as the top Colorado program.
Raccoon Creek PGA Jr League incorporates clinics, on-course practice sessions, matches, a season kickoff pizza party and a popular season-ending Fun Day.
The Varmints will have clinics and on-course practices on Friday evenings from 5-6pm beginning May 10 and running through June. Game Days will be Saturday and Sunday evenings (dates tba soon). Some practice day flexibility (Wed am) will be an option on weeks your player cant attend on Friday.
In 2025, we are again offering a Competitive 13u program for players seeking a more competition-focused environment. Players interested in that program will need to have permission from our programming team to gain access to that program via an assigned registration code. That access will be approved for players with the appropriate attitude, maturity, and skill levels.

New for 2025, we will be playing 6-hole matches as we have found this will be more fun and appropriate in terms of challenge and time commitment for this ability and interest level.
