This is the 4th year of our “Little Birdies” program at Raccoon Creek!

This popular program, created specifically for 6-8 year old players interested in a PGA Jr League experience, sold out in 2023, 2024, and 2025!

Players will need their own clubs to use for the on-course sessions. This includes being able to carry their own clubs or having their parents acting as a “caddie” for on course sessions.

Little Birdies incorporates many fun features of Raccoon Creek’s award-winning PGA Jr League programming utilizing elements of the American Development Model, endorsed by the PGA of America to offer a PGA Jr League golf introduction with appropriate subject matter, skill development, time, and course length for players in this age group.

We will focus on learning to play the game safely while in a fun manner. The concept of team play, PGA Jr League rules and etiquette will be introduced and reinforced throughout the program.

Parental involvement is necessary and required due to the age and typical maturity level of players in this age group. When we are on the course, these players are typically not able to carry their clubs and bag on their own. Having a parent or guardian available during on-course practices and golf events to assist as a “caddie” and be available for familiar support, encouragement, and safety will be required. Junior Golfers in this age group display a wide variety of self-sufficiency and confidence in new situations. We will work with you to create the best experience for your player!
