Description
Program Goals:
- Prepare Players for competitive golf
- Create a community of like-minded players who will support each other in their golf journey
- Develop physical golf skills combined with the ability to focus and manage the mental side of the game
- Maximize each players’ potential as a tournament competitor
- Develop a plan for practice, play and competition
- Develop the player’s physical and mental golf skills
- Understand and utilize proper tournament golf rules and etiquette
Note: Players will be walking during the playing lessons, drop-in sessions and during the practice rounds because they will be walking during HS events. Green Fees and range balls are included for all on-course sessions. Participation in other (outside) stroke play tournaments is also recommended.
The High School Prep Program includes over 13 hours of programming including:
- Parent/Player program kickoff meeting
- $50 range credit for practice outside of the program
- 5 – 1-hour Group Clinics (2 instructors)
- 1 On-course evaluation session (1 hour) in a group with Don or John
- 18-hole practice tournament
- 15-minute Video Swing Analysis with recap
- 1 Hour block of private lesson time with John or Don – (we recommend using 20 minute increments)
- Customized Practice Plan and Practice Drills based on the playing evaluation
- Personal goal-setting session with Don or John
- Instruction on how to keep and interpret playing stats
- 6 complimentary drop-in 9-hole practice rounds (minimally supervised)
- Special 9-hole rate of $10 at Raccoon Creek early morning and late day 9-hole t-times valid all summer
- Discounted private lesson rates for additional sessions with Don and John
