The Board is excited to offer golf clinics to the members of the Raccoon Creek Ladies 9 Hole Golf Club again in 2026. Travis Morton, Head Golf Pro at Raccoon Creek, and John Houlihan, Assistant Golf Pro, will be leading the clinics. Travis has agreed to a schedule of four clinics for only $110! This is a great opportunity to get personalized tips from the Raccoon Creek golf pros and meet others in the league. All members of our club can sign up.
CLINICS – The clinic schedule is included in the 2026 Ladies 9 Hole Golf Club calendar of events and is listed below. Each clinic will focus on specific skills. Four clinic dates are scheduled with a fifth date being held for a make-up clinic if needed. All clinics are on Tuesday evenings. The first three clinics will be from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The fourth clinic for on-course play will be two hours from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. The goal is to complete all the clinics prior to the club championship. As appropriate, range balls are included for the clinics. The dates are:
- May 26th– Full Swing – Includes Driver, Fairway and Irons
- June 9th – Putting and Chipping
- June 23rd – Pitching and Bunkers
- July 14th – Course Management – in groups of 4-5 people 2 Hours on course play with a pro including a cocktail
- July 28th – Make-Up Date if Needed
COST – The cost for 4 clinics is only $110. The cost is for all four clinics and will not be pro-rated if a person is unable to attend a session. Also included are three medium range baskets provided by Travis for you to use for your own practice sessions.
SIGN UP FOR CLINICS – It is easy to sign up. Go to the location in Golf Genius for tee time sign ups. In the calendar you will see clinic events. Click on the attending button to sign up for each clinic date. Please sign up for clinics prior to making payment. Signing up for clinics is very important to ensure we have appropriate staffing for each clinic.
PRIVATE LESSON WITH PRO – If you would still like a private lesson, Travis and John have agreed to provide a 20% discount off their current lesson rate for 1 lesson per golfer signed up for the clinics. If you choose to purchase one lesson from a pro at a 20% discount or if you would like to purchase additional packages from them, please contact either Travis Morton or John Houlihan directly.
